I was referred to Dr. Hood a a little over a year ago for my knees. We first tried steroid injections in my knee and the relief was short term. I went back to see Dr. Hood earlier this year and I agreed to have a Total knee replacement. Surgery was in July. I have never had a major surgery like this but Dr. Hood along with his staff really helped put my mind at ease. The night before Dr. Hood called me to see if I had any questions or concerns and I’ll I could say was “no I am ok just nervous” his response was “myself and my team are going to take excellent care of you and you will feel so much better in no time”. He was RIGHT!! I saw him today for my 6 week (9/6)check up, which all went well, I was emotional because without the encouragement from him and my family I probably would not feel as good as I do right now!! I feel like a new human!! Dr. Hood is literally my hero!! Dr. Hoods office and bedside manner are A+++!! Already talking about my next TKR and assure you Dr. Hood will be doing it!! THANK YOU DR. HOOD!!!
